Impark has years of experience providing all types of parking and ground transportation services in airport settings ranging from corporate flight centers to international airports.
Currently, we provide parking management or valet services at Baltimore-Washington, DC, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Winnipeg International airports. In addition, Impark operates Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada's busiest airport and featuring one of the largest ranked parking structures in the world. Across each of these enterprises, Impark operates, in whole or in part, parking facility management, shuttle services and valet operations.
Parking Facility Operation
As airports face increasing security, liability, and financial issues, the ability to manage across people, technology and customers is paramount. The major elements we focus on, while leaving airport staff the chance to concentrate on core service issues, include:
Management and administration of public and employee pay parking stalls (ie. cashier services, revenue collection and processing). A significant factor here is the planning and procurement process behind implementing the right technology solution; and taking into account the ongoing management of equipment and revenue controls
Training, supply, and supervision of staff, including on-site manager; supervisors; full-time audit and accounting clerk; cashiers.
Dispatch and regulation of limousines, taxis, and other ground transportation – such as satellite lot / off-airport and Rental car customer shuttles. A secondary element may be the dispatching of commercial vehicles
Valet services for airport customers, where applicable
The most significant element in moving people in an airport setting requires experience and careful coordination with the airport’s Security and Ground Transportation Services. Impark has the capacity to deliver and / or coordinate airport shuttle services and ensure that the customer service opportunities are maximized. Beyond defining the operational plan as required by the airport authority, Impark places significant emphasis on training and development of our frontline staff, so as to ensure expectations are met.
The underlying goals for a valet service program are that of profitability and efficiency. In the case of efficient movement of people and goods in an airport setting this must also be accomplished with a limited amount of space and focus on security. Using only a small portion of curbside, Impark works with airport authorities to implement valet services that fill a real need of a significant segment of the market. This customer segment place great value on the convenience of quick, curbside drop-off – as well as enhanced security. This presents an ideal opportunity to generate additional revenues from low-yield space and satisfy a demand from business travelers, VIPs, sports teams, and travelers who recognize the value of being able to “drop-and-go” direct to their flight from curbside.
