Parker Pete Equipment Learning & Development
Impark maintains a Parking Equipment consulting and procurement division, offering clients a knowledgeable perspective when looking to install or replace their parking facility revenue control equipment.  With many options, brands, and combinations out there, evaluating parking equipment for a typical facility can take a substantial amount of time and research. Operating systems vary from pay-in-lane, pay-on-foot, cashier-less, barcode, magnetic-stripe, AVI, and LPI, and our experts handle the task for property managers and owners, providing an objective opinion and ensuring Impark clients are getting the best possible solution at the best price. Through a consultative process with the client / landlord, we will work to address the following elements typical of most independent parking operations:

  • Which market-ready systems best suits the facility, tenants or customers, and budget pay-and-display, pay-on-foot, pay-by-space, pay-on-exit, or a hybrid?
  • Whether components of the existing system can be upgraded to achieve desired service or if an entirely new system is prudent.
  • Whether the parking garage configuration allows for the implementation of a desired system and how its operation fits the application and will be accepted by the customers.
  • Return-On-Investment – how quickly the system will pay for itself.
  • The manufacturer’s record for reliability and after-sales support.
In addition our Equipment group will analyze the automated revenue control requirements of a facility and will write an RFP (if needed), and subsequently evaluate responses on behalf of client properties.

With a history of leading the industry, Impark once held the patent on credit card acceptance in a parking meter.
